About Keith Kent

Keith Kent received his B.A. in Chemistry from Windham College in Putney VT. After receiving his D.M.D. from the University of Louisville, he stayed on to study Professional Education. Dr. Kent has also completed a research training program in microbiology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge. Between 1978 and 1982 he completed a residency in prosthodontics at the Veterans Administration Outpatient Clinic in Boston, MA; a clinical teaching fellowship in Prosthetic Dentistry at Harvard University; and a residency in Maxillofacial Prosthetics and a research fellowship in Cancer Education, both at Roswell Park Memorial Institute for Cancer Research in Buffalo, NY. Dr. Kent then specialized in polymer chemistry and interfacial phenomena. Dr. Kent has practiced dentistry and maxillofacial prosthetics and consulted for several companies. He has written and lectured extensively throughout the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and South America. Dr. Kent currently is owner of Beach Quest Scientific, a R&D company specializing in scientific and biomedical materials and devices. He also is owner of KISS Polymers LLC a silicone coatings and specialty chemical manufacturer. Dr. Kent has several United States and foreign patents on new families of silicones and other polymers.
