About Keith Knapp

As a Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Real-World Evidence (RWE) scientist, I design and lead epidemiology studies to empower healthcare stakeholders with effective, low-risk treatment solutions. With a PhD in Bioinformatics and over 15 years of experience in oncology, rheumatology, dermatology, gastroenterology, and epigenetics, I’ve delivered dozens of prospective and retrospective studies, from protocols and statistical analysis plans to peer-reviewed publications. My achievements include directing multi-center registry studies like TARGET-DERM and TARGET-EGIDs at Target RWE, securing over $5 million in research funding, and publishing 50+ abstracts and manuscripts in journals like Dermatitis and BMC Genomics. I’ve built innovative platforms like the JointMan® rheumatology data warehouse, leveraging R, SQL, FHIR, and CDISC/SDTM for robust data integration. Fluent in Danish and conversational in French, I bring a global perspective to cross-functional teams.
