Vast experience spanning from specialised(submarines) military corps where I focused on all electronic systems from surveillance to weapons on board South African submarines this was backed by electronic engineering background. I then ventured into aviation where airspace command,control and management became focal. An experienced ATC with aerodrome and approach surveillance and procedural ratings. Currently working at the South African Civil Aviation Authority in a dual role of a Testing Standards Officer and a PEL Inspector but not limited to the title as I consult in Aviation Safety Operations Division's special projects such as RPAS and personnel licensing system integrations and a sitting panel member of the ICAO RPAS Panel WG3(DAA) and JARUS panel. Proven knowledge of SACAA regulations with experience that includes strategist, aviation safety operations testing standards officer, air traffic controller, auditor and aviation consultant. Solid understanding of technology and innovation best practices. Expert in managing all levels of large-scale aviation regulatory and policy projects, including budgeting and resource allocation in line with the project plan.
