About Keith Mello-Hall

My initial career path was in psychology as a Behavioral Therapist for children with developmental disabilities…I absolutely loved it. At the same time I played in several bands and recorded music often, this landed me a life changing opportunity to move to LA to pursue my dream of being a paid musician. Once I arrived in LA I realized I would need something else to fall back on which lead me to getting a certificate in Audio Engineering. At the end of the program at Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA I was offered a job as Chief Audio Engineer for Hologram USA. We worked with various celebrity clients using hologram technology for entertainment and interview purposes. After many years in the industry I was ready for my next challenge, Supply Chain Management. I created DistroHub with 2 other partners and began passionately learning everything I could about logistics and transportation. A year later and thousands of calls made as a Freight Broker/Freight Forwarder I decided I was ready to join forces with my favorite carrier I had experienced along the way. ABF Freight gave me the opportunity as an Operations Supervisor to manage 25+ drivers and several thousand bills of freight. In less than 2 years I was promoted to Account Manager with parent company ArcBest, and moved from California to Austin, TX with my beautiful wife and 3 adorable children. To say I’ve had an eventful life would be an understatement…and I’m just getting started! Supply Chain Management is my true career pride and joy, I’m forever indebted to this industry that provides the constant pursuit of problem solving and creativity. A great mentor of mine once said “operations & logistics is like solving a Rubik’s Cube every day”. Well, I can solve a Rubik’s Cube in less than 2 minutes…and I keep one on my desk to stay sharp. Game on!
