About Keith Miller

I am a passionate, result driven Entertainment Technician with 17+ years experience with strong skills in Audio, Lighting, Scenic and carpentry and graduated Valencia College with a degree in Entertainment Design and Technology with a focus in Live Entertainment. I have assisted on a variety of shows as stagehand, setting up speaker arrays, microphones for actors and bands as well as running cables. I have worked as a Lighting Technician and played a key role at Valencia College by preparing for stage performances by reading and understanding lighting CAD plots then operating a Genie Lift to hang Source 4 and Fresnel lanterns from trusses and lighting trees and even assisted with focusing the lights at the correct targets on stage. As an Audio Technician I have held the position of A1 FOH engineer at Valencia College mixing actors' mics in theatrical performances using a Yamaha M7CL console and as part of this role, I was responsible for overseeing the wireless mic team backstage to make sure they were running smoothly as well as utilizing the console to patch the channels for each performer, program levels for each scene and adjust the effects and filters as needed. For the past 15 years I volunteered with Disney Live Entertainment and United Cerebral Palsy. In the past events with this organization, I have proven to be a dedicated worker and useful asset and because of that, each year I acquire more responsibilities. In this year's event, I held the role of both A2 and Sound Designer. In the 2023 benefit gala, I worked closely with the A1 as an intern and designed the audio for the auction room from the planning phase through load-in, event and strike. All of this helped me to build my professional partnership, working with the production crew, as well as improve my project and time management skills. I strive to work as hard as I can and provide the best service possible to the guests of each and every event I assist with and have a goal to move forward with a great team to create unforgettable entertainment for the world to enjoy.
