About Keith Moore

I was employed by the MAPEI Corporation since 2006 -2019 as the Midwest Regional Technical Service Representative retiring from MAPEI on May 31, 2019. My duties were to conduct product training seminars, teach industry standards, attend pre job site visits with architects and general contractors, investigate claims and claim report writing. I have now started a floorcovering inspection business named Moore Certified Services LLC. I am certified to inspect all types of floorcovering and ceramic tile and floor coatings. History. • Began my career in 1970 as a warehouseman at a large floorcovering workroom. • Served 5 years as an apprentice where I learned how to install many different styles and types of floorcoverings (carpet, wood, ceramic tile, vinyl, linoleum and floor tile). • I started a floorcovering installation company in 1975 employing upwards of 10 installers until closing my business in 1996. • 1996 -2003 hired by floorcovering adhesive manufacture based in Dalton Georgia as their National Technical Service representative. • 2003 -2006 Worked for a full line floorcovering wholesaler. Increased sale 600% in my territory. • Certified Master installer by the (CFI).Sat on their board of directors for 3 years and served as one of their senior training instructors. Was presented their highest award the “Charles R. Gress Memorial” award” for recognition and unselfish contributions in promoting quality floorcovering installations. • Certified Technical carpet inspector both by CFI and by the Floor Covering Institute of Technical Services (FCITS). • Certificated by the Ceramic Tile Council (CTC), International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) in conducting ASTM F 1860 and ASTM F 2170 moisture testing. The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA),(IICRC) in substrate, subfloor, inspection (ISSI). Certified by the Certified Flooring Inspectors University (CFIU) in Carpet, Laminate, Engineered wood flooring and solid wood flooring, Floor coatings, Luxury vinyl flooring, Resilient flooring and, Expert witness. •Have a total of over 50 years of experience within the flooring industry. Stating as an floorcovering installer, operated my floorcovering workroom, conducted floorcovering training seminars, certified floorcovering installers on the many different types of floorcovering. I also, have over 25 years of conducting product knowledge (PK) training for manufacturers, on the job site pre-install / inspection meetings with architects and general contractors, Installer on site training, claims investigations and claim writing.
