Established IT systems analyst/programmer with 20+ years of experience in n-tier application design, development, testing, distribution, and maintenance. Development skills include Java technologies, some VB.net. Background in object-oriented analysis and design along with Unified Modeling Language (UML). Experience with several software design patterns. Experience with the Guidewire PolicyCenter component. Guidewire 10.0 Certified Specialist - Configuration (12/2020) Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Strong written communication skills. Effective business requirements gathering and design documentation. Agile project management with Scrum. Academic background includes Bachelor of Science in Business Management with overall GPA of 3.50. Specialties: Object-oriented software development, primarily using Java, with some VB.Net, and business requirements gathering and documentation. Interests: Coaching my son's youth football and basketball teams. Helping my daughter pursue her interest in music. Working towards CPCU designation (4 exams completed). Other interests include fitness and some traveling. Honorable mention :)- As I am passing on my interest in powerlifting and fitness to my kids, at one point I was ranked 199th in the U.S (1997) in the ADFPA (American Drug Free Powerlifting Association).
