About Keith Robinson

This story starts, as they often do… With a young and upcoming engineer! When I was young, I was fascinated by trains and how they moved great loads on rails (and how they crushed coins). I asked my father who drove those machines and he replied that engineers do. I immediately said I wanted to be an engineer when I grow up! He chuckled and said that there are also types of people who are called engineers that design those trains. I was ecstatic, and from that moment onward, I knew I wanted to become an engineer. Since then, my tastes have shifted a bit from trains, but I have always retained my fascination for design. I often think up and try to make solutions for problems I see in day to day life. From manually polarizing lenses on glasses (before Boeing patented that and put it in planes…) to synthetic muscle exoskeleton limbs to assist disabled individuals, I focus on the solution and not just the problem. An important aspect in life is to never stop questioning, and to continue learning every day. Each new problem comes with a mountain of experience that can be obtained. Breaking a problem up and learning what you can do with each segment is pivotal to effective results. A mountain is conquered one step at a time.
