About Keith Saunders

Highly interactive and interpersonal tasks (teaching, qualitative social research, political networking) involving the praxis of social life are my forte. I have spent the better part of the past 25 years field testing social theory through application of given principles to lived problems experienced by my research subjects and students. Working for a more humanistic drug and health policy, attempting to guide social change to make such policies possible. Providing critical analyses of prohibition's effects upon networks, neighborhoods and families. Legalizing marijuana in Massachusetts and promoting similar reforms in the Northeast U.S. Specialties: Ethnographic and participatory action research of subcultural and/or deviant social networks, including marijuana users, marijuana policy reform activists, non-prescription opiate users, and undocumented laborers. Mobilizing resources for non-profit and volunteer organizations & political campaigns, advising funding strategy and execution, messaging, and outreach. Networking among the leaders of cannabis policy reform and emerging businesses, leading the discourse on the new understanding of cannabis in U.S. society, consulting those who want to learn about entering the booming primary and secondary cannabis indusries. Also able to provide estimates and install flooring (carpet, laminate, vinyl, ceramic, VCT).
