I served a 3 year term as local chairman, attended welding school, worked on the road truck re-railing, the yard inspecting trains, and currently work on the repair track. I also am a member on the health and safety committee. - 2008 I worked in the intermotel industry in Minneapolis's Shoreham yard. Starting as a gate inspector, then moving into the offices. I was the export clerk for all units going to Montreal among all other office tasks. I then moved out to the yard as a hostler, inspecting and parking trailers. Soon i became a lift operator loading containers on and off trains. Finally I became a supervisor which was all these tasks combined plus planning all inbound and outbound loading and unloading of all trains. I also help start and lead the safety committee.
