About Keith Williamson

Keith Williamson is the President of Centene’s philanthropic arm, the Centene Foundation. Established in 2004, the Foundation is committed to enhancing the health and well-being of communities through initiatives focused on healthcare access, social services and education. In 2020, Williamson became President of the Foundation after serving 13 years as Centene’s General Counsel, a period during which the company expanded through organic growth and strategic acquisitions. Before joining Centene, Williamson spent 18 years at Pitney Bowes in Connecticut, where he concluded his tenure as President of its Capital Services Division. His career began as a tax lawyer with Covington & Burling in Washington, D.C, followed by a position at Reavis & McGrath (now Norton Rose Fulbright) in New York. Since 2005, Williamson has been on the board of PPL Corporation, a FORTUNE 500 company with utilities in Kentucky, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island. He is also active in various professional, mentoring and social organizations. His civic contributions include serving as board chair for the United Way, the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, and The Opportunity Trust; serving as a commissioner and leading the search committee for the St. Louis Art Museum; and assisting the St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office with community engagement. He has also been involved with the Mathews-Dickey Boys & Girls Club, Mound City Bar Foundation and KIPP – St. Louis. Williamson's accolades include the St. Louis Urban League’s 2024 “Lifetime Achievement Award,” The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis’ 2023 Inductee into the “Gallery Of Legal Pioneers,” the 2022 Whitfield Foundation for Success Awards, Christian Hospital Foundation’s 2021 “Drum Major Award,” and Missouri Lawyers 2019 “Lifetime Achievement Award. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University, a Juris Doctorate and Master of Business Administration from Harvard University, and a Master of Laws in taxation from New York University.
