About Kelan Johnson

Kelan is a Regional Lead PCT and Regional Rise Preceptor for Great Lakes Division Region 4 at DaVita-Hurley Medical Center Outpatient. He has over 3.5 years of experience in nephrology and is passionate about delivering top-quality patient care while improving health outcomes for those with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Kelan is a certified CCHT board member through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission and a certified PCT Preceptor at DaVita. He is also a Regional Covering Administrative Assistant and a skilled leader and Labor and Safety Manager who supervises and trains staff, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Kelan completed his certification in Human Medicine from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in 2015. He also completed his DSS Leadership program in Leadership and Management from DaVita University School of Leadership and Management in 2023, and his Associate in General Studies from Mott Community College in 2023. Kelan is committed to advancing his knowledge and skills in nephrology and healthcare management and has contributed to multiple quality improvement projects and initiatives. He is proficient in clinical documentation, auditing, and data analysis. Kelan is a friendly and approachable person who is always willing to help and make a positive impact on the lives of his patients and colleagues.
