Currently an SBA Loan Underwriter for First Internet Bank of Indiana, a top-20 SBA loan producing financial. I have been in this role since August 2022.Prior to FIB, I was an Assistant Manager of Business Credit. In this role I led a team of four credit analysts, reviewed deals, developed and trained staff, worked on implementing process improvements and underwrote complex deals.In July 2021 I was promoted from Business Credit Analyst to a Senior Analyst role. In these roles I would underwrite deals ranging from $250k-$16M. have experience underwriting C&I and CRE borrowers.As of October 2019 I started as a Business Credit Analyst with Summit Credit Union.Prior to making the change to Credit Analyst I was using my financial service experience to help members as a Lending Advisor at Summit Credit Union in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While doing that I looked for the best financial avenue for my members, whether that be home equity loans, auto loans, budgeting help or even just guiding them down a path that will lead them to being approved for a loan in the future.Prior to working at Summit Credit Union I got my feet wet in financial services working for Great-West Financial, now currently EMPOWER Retirement.At Great-West Financial I was Retirement Representative in their call center. This grew my knowledge of retirement plans from 401(k)s to governmental plans and IRAs. I processed investment transfer, educated on withdrawal options and consequences and worked on drumming up sales leads for incoming rollovers.I graduated from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) in May of 2013 with a degree in Journalism, Advertising and Media Studies with an emphasis in public relations and advertising. Also, graduated with a minor in Communication and large coursework in Political Science.While at UWM I interned for the Milwaukee Admirals, a minor league hockey team, for two years. My first year there was interning as a Game Day Marketing and Promotions Intern and my second year was as a Public Relations and Communications Intern.
