About Kelle Clark

I am a mathematician and computer scientist with interests that include cryptography, quantum information, post quantum algorithms, and coding theory. My current research interests focus on concepts within coding theory, abstract algebra and verifiable computation. In particular, I am studying applications of distance magnifying codes, elliptic curve groups, along with post quantum cryptographic mechanisms and signatures. As the cryptographic engineer at TSS, I researched and implemented cryptographic methods to meet standards regarding the generation, storage, and transmission of symmetric keys. My responsibilities included maintaining, scaling, building and documenting code to support product cryptographic functionality and required my working knowledge of RSA encryption, TDES/AES encryption, Public Key Cryptographic Standards for messages and certificates, ASN1, PCI SSC PIN and DSS standards, along with awareness of ASC X9F publications and ISO standards. My day to day included assisting customers with PKI issues and assisting them with the setting of security configurations and enabling of cryptographic methods between HSMs and other TSS components. In particular, I have in depth knowledge of building custom functionality modules (Linux OS) for external Network Protect Server HSMs (with both Centos and PSESH interfaces) and host commands to be used with both payShield 9K and 10K.
