About Kellen Brewer

I'm an introvert and a communicator. Sounds like a contradiction, right? Actually, being an introvert helps me to communicate more intentionally and with forethought. Public speaking is the anomaly. Strangely enough, I'm comfortable speaking in front of others even without a great deal of preparation. Anyway, I like communication because it connects us to ideas, passions/causes and each other. Communicating across language and the spoken word, writing, and art and design all captivate me. My entire career (or mostly all of it) involves communication in one form or another. Come to think of it, even my hobbies and interests outside of work involve some aspect of communication - music, food and cooking, travel and going to museums, health and wellness (enjoying yoga!), and don't forget surrounding myself with positive relationships to family and friends. Hmm, still figuring out where the communication is on leisurely walks at the park. Oh, wait - enjoying the park with friends or interacting with neighbors - there's communication. Who am I-honest and sincere (integrity is big with me!)-trustworthy and responsible (thrive when given responsibility and am trusted by managers and colleagues)-adaptable to change and innovation (as the saying goes, variety is the spice of life)
