About Kellen Link

Always striving to understand more than I did the day before. Technology and Software are constantly evolving and we need to change with it. I'm open to listening to new ideas and reevaluate existing trends. I routinely participate in Hack-a-thons that my current company hosts. With this I attend multiple conferences in the area such as Codemash and Stirtrek. These are great resources to help sharpen my skills outside of work and learn about new technologies. I've transfered this knowledge by giving talks at my companies SIG (Special Interest Group) mettings that are hosted once a month. My main focus has been front end development with AngularJS but have worked on personal projects using D3, Ember, and React. I'm familiar with both Gulp and Grunt build systems as well as utilizing them in a Jenkins CI tool. I like to know the processes behind an entire project and not just the deployment code base. By having well rounded knowledge of the entire life cycle of a project and deeper understanding of certain frameworks I feel that it helps me be more well equipped to aid the business in reaching the goals it sets for itself.
