About Kelley Kim

I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to learn several foreign languages since I was born in South Korea, studied in the United States, and came to Canada. I learned several languages such as Japanese, Chinese, and French at high school, and I learned English and Spanish in the United States. Based upon my multi-cultural knowledge, in Canada, I have enhanced my broader attitudes toward diverse cultures including those who have several culture. I'm a fast, active, and hardworking learner. I studied as an organizing, outgoing, and committed student who dedicates oneself to accomplish works. I have work experience in teaching, translating, assisting and researching in the United States and South Korea. In particular, volunteer experiences in healthcare settings enhanced my interpersonal skills with a client-centred approach and multicultural competency. Likewise, I assisted a professor at the university as a teaching and research assistant in California. As a legal intern, I assisted lawyer and law clerk by drafting legal documents, monitoring legal claims, conducting legal research, and preparing correspondence. Through these significant experiences, I attained strong research and analytical skills as well as excellent cooperation with others.
