My family has recently relocated and is putting down roots Palm Bay, Florida. After serving in the U.S. Navy's Submarine Service for 21 years, my husband retired and has started his second career in the area. Until recently, all of my time and energy has been spent on keeping a busy household running. We have two school-aged children who are both wonderful students and busy with as many activities and sports as we can manage. As a mother and Navy wife, I was not focused on my career goals and chose instead to do my part in ensuring the success of my family. Now that our boys are older and far more self-sufficient, and we have settled into the area that we plan to grow old in, I am finally able to concentrate on my own personal journey and new career opportunities.
