About Kelley Webb

Hi! I'm Kelley. I started my educational career in Finance with a bachelor's degree from Xavier University. I was always passionate about the education space and furthered by studies at University of Toledo: with a masters and now as a PhD candidate in the Social Foundations of Education program. I founded an organization called Matching Peace where I delivered inclusivity and anti-bias workshops to over 200 participants to encourage transparent dialogue as a proactive step towards social change and accountability for a variety of high-profile clients (e.g, Bowling Green State University, Toledo School of the Arts, YWCA of Van Wert). As a Director of Education at Sylvan Learning Center, I focus on improving student curriculum and progress where I collaborate with student families, school teachers and Sylvan teachers to achieve student goals. As an Assistant Store Manager at The Kroger Company, I oversaw all the human resource duties, including interviewing, hiring, on-boarding, training and mentoring. I was also a member of the Cultural Council which helped to curate a culture of belonging. As the Principal Consultant for Matching Peace, I was a sought after workshop facilitator and have been told that I break down information in a manageable way for attendees to not only understand, but in a tangible manner for attendees to implement. I am looking to transition into learning and development because I have learned that I have a gift for process improvement and relationship building.
