I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Science from North Dakota State University, awarded in May of 2013. Starting in June of 2013 I was employed at North Memorial Health Hospital as a Medical Technologist. I worked on all shifts during my time at NMHH, and worked in all departments of the laboratory. I started serving as Charge Technologist in April of 2014. In August of 2018, I obtained a position as Medical Technologist in the Blood Bank at Cleveland Clinic. I trained in all areas of the Blood Bank, including advanced serology. I transitioned to a Medical Technologist position at Akron Children's Hospital in March of 2020, working in the Microbiology and Virology laboratories. I started serving as the Senior Medical Technologist in December of 2023, with new responsibilities including competency assessment, procedure writing, and new technology implementation.
