Highlighted Achievements-Supported creation of and authored five-year strategic plan for the Mid-Columbia Houseless Collaborative, comprised of 40+ organizations from a bi-state, five-county region-Wrote one of only two grants funded in Oregon by the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development’s 2022 Special NOFO to Address Unsheltered and Rural Homelessness-Successfully managed programs, subrecipient relations, and all grant compliance and reporting activities for $3.2 million federal CARES Act Emergency Solutions Grant-Worked for two members of Congress, including on U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley’s leadership team. Supported seven direct reports to implement strategic outreach, policy advising, and federal appropriations advocacy in order to effectively address Oregonians’ needs during the COVID-19 pandemic, 2020 wildfires, and the return of Congressionally Directed Spending-Served on core lobby team that passed the Student Success Act in Oregon’s 2019 legislative session-Managed all aspects of the most competitive state House race in Oregon in 2014 and successfully secured State House seat for Representative Susan McLain-Directed largest non-partisan youth and student voter registration program in the country in 2012, registering more than college and university students to vote.
