About Kellie Hansen

Kellie is located via telehealth around Australia, is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician and Clinical Supervisor. Working Monday to Friday at Holistic Lifestyle Practice Kellie sees adolescents, adults and couples) under GP Mental Health Care Plans, NDIS participants, Employee Assistance Programs and private paying clients. Kellie provides trauma-informed, holistic, psychological therapy utilising a range of focussed psychological strategies for mental health and wellbeing. Kellie also draws from other modalities including Somatic Experiencing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Lifestyle Medicine, Neurobiology, Hypnotherapy, Minecraft Therapy, Animal Assisted Therapy (Luna the therapy dog attends some days) and expressive therapies including sand tray, play therapy and clayfield therapy. Kellie is also an experienced clinical supervisor, currently supervising a range of mental health practitioners around Australia including; Social Workers, Counsellors, Psychologists and Community Nurses. Kellie has ten years experience working as a Social Worker in counselling/psychological therapy roles including domestic violence, sexual assault, refugees and asylum seekers, forensics counselling, EAP and with neurological conditions and working in community services/advocacy prior to this. Kellie is committed in undertaking her own clinical supervision (both individually and within a group) and professional development to ensure she maintains an evidence based and reflective approach to mental health treatment for clients. Kellie has a special interest in trauma informed lifestyle medicine for mental health and chronic health conditions and is currently studying a Master of Lifestyle Medicine at James Cook University.
