About Kelly Bertels

I am a Data Analyst and BSc Software Systems Development who graduated from the Waterford Institute of Technology. While in college, I completed several web applications and some mobile applications to accommodate education, shopping, scientific identification, and delivery services. I also assumed a leadership position to represent student advocacies. Some of my core courses that I intend to utilize in the real world include Programming Fundamentals, Web App Development, Mobile App Development, Network Systems, Data Structure and Algorithms, Integrated Marketing, and User Experience Design. Before and during my undergraduate education, I also gained various professional competencies by working with different organizations and businesses to hone my administrative, organization, interpersonal, and marketing skills. Recently, I took a certification to improve my marketing competencies to become astute with various graphic techniques other than my broad IT competencies. As a professional, I believe that my people skills can be used to advance the project specifications of my future clients. Throughout my education and career, I have gained numerous IT competencies fit for various junior developer [java] and front-end developer roles. My interests, however, primarily involves computer programming geared towards web app/mobile app development, data visualization and migration, and network systems management.
