About Kelly Rys

As a life long learner, I place a high value on education. I've learned a great deal on the subjects of marketing, sales, and finance while serving as Vice President and Relationship Manager at Enterprise Bank and I have decided to pursue a career in higher education to help educate the next generation of business professionals. In 2023 I was honored to be awarded the Excellence in Teaching Award for Part-time Faculty for my innovation in teaching, investment in students, and community service. In 2022 I was a recipient of an Innovation in Teaching grant to standardize our personal finance curriculum and improve student engagement through a technology platform called Nearpod. In 2019 I worked on a committee to create and introduce a Personal Finance Course into the curriculum at Dean College to help students gain financial literacy and understand the basics of money management. Our Team was the recipient of the James Fox Retention Award at the 2020 Dean College Service Awards for our commitment to diversifying the quantitative reasoning requirement across the curriculum. I also focus many of my marketing lessons around the importance of relationships and personalization in this one-on-one, value focused marketing era. As a Relationship Manager at Enterprise Bank, I managed $65M in deposit relationships and developed new loan volume (mortgages, commercial and consumer) through direct customer contact and targeted prospecting. I consistently achieved Presidents Club ($6M+ in referrals) as a Branch Manager. I was also responsible for daily branch operations, staff development, deposit growth and business development. I love and enjoy sales, teaching, relationship building, and community development. In the communities where I have worked and lived, I have served on the Board of Directors at the Greater Lowell YMCA, Young Professionals of Greater Lowell, and the Revolving Museum. I have also served as the Board President for Franklin Children's School and many committees for the Jefferson Elementary School Parent Community Council.
