I am Kelsey Dugan, a dedicated professional with extensive experience in Agricultural Literacy, leadership, and personal growth. My background includes roles as an agricultural science teacher, FFA Advisor, and a 4-H Agent in California, where I managed diverse programs and supported a wide range of volunteers. I am committed to advancing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility, focusing on empowering individuals and communities through tailored services and support. My expertise in strategic thinking, data analysis, and research has consistently led to successful outcomes across various initiatives. I excel at transforming strategies into actionable plans that promote best practices and drive effective results. Known for my ability to simplify complex topics, I engage diverse audiences and facilitate educational initiatives that foster understanding and collaboration. I thrive in team-oriented environments, conducting stakeholder engagement sessions and building strong relationships with a variety of groups. I hold a master’s degree in Agricultural Education from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education with an Animal Science emphasis from California State University, Fresno. Additionally, I have a single-subject teaching credential in Agriculture from Brandman University (now UMass Global) and an Agricultural Specialist credential from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Looking ahead, I plan to pursue doctoral research on the impacts of extension and agricultural education, particularly within diverse and underserved populations.
