About Kelsey Fields
Hello! I am a recent graduate student at Appalachian State University pursing masters degrees in Music Therapy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I received a Bachelors of Music in Music Therapy with a minor in Psychology from the University of Evansville, and completed my internship at Lawrence Hall Youth Services in Chicago, IL. By returning to school, I hoped to gain more knowledge and experience with research and advanced clinical practices, as well as obtain licensure related to counseling (LPC-MHSP Temporary). In my future practice, I hope to integrate counseling and music therapy to work with children, adolescents and adults with mental illness, and emotional and behavioral disorders. I am passionate about advocating for populations such as children in DCFS custody or foster care, as well as individuals who are homeless. I am honored to serve people, and I am always excited to share my love of music and life with others.
