About Kelsey Ives

I currently work at Coach as the Senior Director/Head of Buying and Allocation for Japan, located in Tokyo. I have 13+ years of professional Merchandising experience ranging from RTW (both Women's and Men's) to Leathergoods and Accessories. For the past 6 years, I have had the pleasure to be a part of Coach Global Merchandising, as a lead on the Women's Team in New York. I have spent my time accelerating and innovating the Outlet channel to the successful multibillion dollar business it is today. I currently manage a dynamic team of 14, and I was a graduating member of the FY22 Emerging Leaders Program at Tapestry, Inc. Creating product drives me, and I have a strong focus on consumer insight, marketplace trends, and strategizing global assortment initiatives. I graduated in May of 2012 with my BS in Fashion Merchandising and Product Development from FIT and a Minor in French. I graduated with a 3.9 GPA, in the top 3% of my class with a leadership key and the President's award for outstanding extra-curricular service. While in college, I was selected by Parsons and the Economic Development Corporation of New York City as 1 of the top 25 fashion students in the country, participating in the 2012 Fashion Draft. In September 2011, I competed at the World Retail Congress Competition in Berlin as one of four members on the United States student team, sponsored by Warnaco. At FIT, I was the President of FIT DECA Marketing Association for 3 years. I was also the 2011 Doneger Scholarship winner for academic and career excellence.
