About Kelsey Johnson

Highly dedicated professional with experience developing curriculum and delivering exceptional educational excellence in Secondary Education with a passion for community and a drive for increasing opportunities, experiences, and literacy within marginalized communities. Looking to transfer communication skills, knowledge of English/Spanish language, and eye for detail to high-quality editorials, journalism, and publications. In my time as an educator, I have been responsible for identifying student achievement gaps through data analysis and responsive lesson construction based on assessment data. During this time as an educator and communications coordinator, I have also have improved my skills as an editor and writer, as a recipient of a Bachelor of Arts in English. Since the beginning of my tenure, I have been able to obtain my Master of Education from Relay GSE; after proving my ability to manage, educate, and promote growth within my school community. While I do possess many skills and attributes that make a terrific teacher and professor, I am looking to pivot out of classroom education and into management/development roles. As I have communications skills, knowledge of both English and Spanish languages, and a keen eye for detail, I would like to transfer these skills into an industry where I am able to produce high-quality editorials, publications, and corporate communications.
