About Kelsey Kellems

With over 10 years of nursing experience, I am a passionate and skilled registered nurse who provides quality and compassionate care to patients with complex medical needs. I currently work as a registered nurse at Norton Healthcare, a leading health system in Kentucky, where I handle high-volume and high-risk deliveries in a suburban facility. I also work as a case management nurse for RN-Independent Contractor, where I coordinate home-based nursing care for medically complex elderly patients within the community. I develop care plans that center around improving quality of life, incorporating a holistic approach with evidence-based practice, under the supervision of providers. I facilitate closed-loop communication within the interdisciplinary team to ensure the safety of patients and the efficacy of treatment plans. In addition to my direct patient care skills, I have a strong ability to self-teach and master new skills when necessary. I have gained a wide range of competencies, such as medical chart review, GE Centricity, maternal child health nursing, and critical care nursing. I also hold certifications in ACLS, BLS, and CCRN. I am excited to explore any remote positions in the field of nursing, but I am also open to new industries and role opportunities. My goal is to leverage my knowledge and skills to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of others.
