Kelsey Lima, MSW LICSW is a Boston-based licensed independent clinical social worker and adjunct instructor. She studied at Salem State University and Boston University and holds various post-graduate certificates. Ms. Lima's clinical practice is focused individuals impacted by violence, substance use, mental health disorders and chronic medical conditions specifically infectious diseases and cognitive neurological disorders. Ms. Lima is skilled in CBT, treatment of trauma, and cognitive processing therapy. She is involved in her local DEI Task Force and is a Human Rights Commissioner. Areas of Practice- medical social work in public health setting - psychotherapy in private practice & outpatient neurology clinic -international social work specializing in permanency, child welfare, human trafficking, and migrant health-forensic social work Ms. Lima has been recognized by Salem State University as a 2021 Outstanding Social Worker of the Year. She received a United Nations recognized undergraduate certificate in Tourism Sustainability and Development from Salem State University. She conducted research exploring natural resource exploitation in American Indigenous communities focusing on violence against Indigenous Women as a Commonwealth Honors Scholar. In 2023, she was named 40 under 40 by Salem State.
