About Kelsey Lorrens

I have been working in education for the past nine years, bringing a deep commitment to student support, inclusion, and equity. In 2024, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Higher Education, with an expected graduation in May 2026. Since August 2025, I have served as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Institutional Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, where I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to meaningful initiatives that foster a more inclusive campus environment. Additionally, I completed an internship in the Accessibility Office at Daemen University, where I gained valuable understanding in supporting students with diverse needs and advocating for equitable access to education. Through both of these experiences, I’ve immersed myself in learning and professional growth—actively listening, asking questions, and applying new insights. I continue to seek out opportunities that allow me to grow as a practitioner in higher education and make a positive impact on students' lives.
