About Kelsey Stone

I am a Human Resources Specialist at East River Electric Power Cooperative, focusing on employee training and engagement. East River Electric Power Cooperative is an electric cooperative serving 24 rural electric distribution cooperatives and one municipally-owned electric system in eastern South Dakota and western Minnesota. Prior to returning to East River Electric Power Cooperative, I worked for the City of Poway, California, Public Works Department as a Senior Management Analyst, focusing on contract administration and solid waste and recycling programs. I also worked for the City of Madison, Wisconsin, as a program assistant in the Engineering Division. I am ardent about my work and always strive for the best. I enjoy meeting and working with new people. While I like all aspects of my job, my favorite part is seeing successful preparation and collaboration during and after an event or project. Coworkers see me as a dependable, responsible person. I am always willing to assist and learn new things. I am able to work well alone, but also enjoy collaborating with others. I have a BS from the University of South Dakota with majors in advertising and public relations, as well as a minor in business administration.
