About Kelsey Thomas

In my current position as a Project Architect, I am responsible for collaborating with colleagues, clients, and consultants to develop a beautiful and cost-effective design. I assist the project team in the development of project drawings through all phases, as well as, specification writing, construction administration tasks, renderings, and the overall project design. I enjoy the variety in my work day. No project is the same and has unique obstacles and learning opportunities. The creative and problem-solving nature of the architecture field is what initially attracted me to the profession. I spent a lot of my years before college and working taking up art classes and diving into any creative hobby possible. As a social creature, I appreciate working with creative thinkers and working on projects to accomplish a shared goal. I believe my collaborative and personable qualities, along with creative and problem-solving skills, are most valuable in my day to day life both personally and professionally. I also enjoy integrating myself into my community. Currently, I volunteer for the Rosedale Food Pantry and I am a member of the Rosedale Civic Association and specifically participate in the Park Committee. When I am not volunteering, I enjoy hiking, yoga, and traveling. To keep up with all this activity, I like to experiment with cooking or discovering new eats everywhere I go.
