With a degree in English and experience in various forms of work, I have a balanced and diverse skillset that is valuable and adaptable. My English degree honed my ability to communicate, analyze, research, and delve into causation and consequence. I know how to effectively implement these skills in my work and environment to create a healthy atmosphere and provide efficient results. I have a keen social perception that allows me to be a balance within a group of people. My soft skills set me apart as an asset in a variety of environments, and allow me to be an effective leader. I see a good thing for its great potential and can effectively carry an idea from the generation stage to implementation. Seeing the big picture and end goals in a project, and getting a team there, is my strength. I have held multiple leadership positions, many in which I have helped build a group or event from the ground up, which has required ingenuity. I am comfortable with and enjoy public speaking, delegating, and managing. I have had ample opportunities to plan and host various fundraisers and non-profit events, and enjoy the rigorous work of planning an event and the reward of seeing it reach its potential and fulfill its purpose.
