About Kelsi Smith

As a Senior Project Lead at Quantify Research, I collaborate with pharmaceutical partners to design and conduct real-world evidence (RWE) projects that support product development, market access, and post-marketing surveillance. With experience in epidemiology, neuroscience, and genetics, I apply my skills to lead teams as a project manager project in study design, data analysis, medical statistics, and scientific communication to generate high-quality and impactful evidence that informs health care decision-making and policy. I also help with some marketing materials, development of sales pipelines and lead identification, and helped to develop RWE data visualization tools. I am a dynamic, organised and adaptable individual who wants to bring a fresh outlook to health care and disease treatments to better the lives of people living with disease. I am passionate about improving the lives of people living with disease and bringing effective and safe treatments to patients. My previous experience in academia involved investigating the role of genetic, lifestyle, and environmental factors in the cause and consequences of multiple sclerosis (MS). I received multiple awards and grants for my innovative and cross-disciplinary research (approx 1 million SEK ) including the endMS Doctoral Studentship Award from the MS Society of Canada and from NEUROSweden. I have also published my findings in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences.
