About Kelsie Helm

Kelsie Helm is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Kelsie holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from Adler University. She has experience in community-based mental health settings, working from a trauma-informed lens with individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Kelsie has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in the individual and group settings to provide both clinical counseling and an art-based approach to therapy. Kelsie has partnered with individuals navigating trauma recovery, relational challenges, short and longterm homelessness, mental health related legal involvement, self-concept/self-esteem, addiction support, and grief processing. Kelsie utilizes aspects of various trauma-informed therapeutic approaches including: cognitive behavioral therapy, Adlerian, and tenets of dialectical behavioral therapy. She believes in the value of caring for the whole person — mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually — and the role that a safe therapeutic space can have in that process. Kelsie’s goal is to provide opportunities for individuals to feel valued and heard. In her work as a therapist, she seeks to partner with you as you process your own thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Kelsie looks forward to providing an authentic, non-judgmental, thoughtful therapeutic relationship as you seek to gain greater awareness of yourself and the world around you.
