About Kelsie Moak

I help leaders stop guessing about technology and start making confident, informed decisions.I’m the COO of a Louisiana-based technology firm with more than 20 years in business, and I spend my days working directly with leadership teams, especially in engineering and professional services, where downtime, data integrity, and security actually matter. My background is heavily rooted in cybersecurity. I’ve worked alongside organizations navigating incidents involving the FBI and FDIC, and I’ve seen firsthand what happens when risk is ignored, misunderstood, or pushed off until “later.” That experience shapes how I approach technology today: practical, proactive, and grounded in reality, not fear.Engineering firms are a core focus of my work. Their workflows, compliance pressures, and tolerance for disruption are different, and generic IT doesn’t cut it. I help firms tighten their processes, protect their data, and build systems that support how engineers actually work, not how software vendors think they should. What I’m known for:• Translating complex tech and security into plain English• Calling out inefficiency and unnecessary risk• Building processes that scale and teams actually follow• Being hands-on and deeply investedI don’t believe in scare tactics or buzzwords. I believe in clarity, accountability, and doing the work the right way.If your technology feels heavier than it should, it probably is.
