About Keltie Chamberlain

I'm inspired by individuals who bring excellence to their daily experience. As a Planner, I strive to be innovative and creative everyday in my approach to planning, public engagement, and design. I continue to improve my planning and urban design lens through experience and life-long learning. I work in municipal planning, public engagement, urban design, environmental planning, heritage planning, affordable housing, policy development and land use planning. I have been involved in multiple design charrettes and downtown revitalization projects, and designed and executed public engagement strategies. In 2018, as a Metis artist, place-maker and urban designer, I completed two large-scale public art pieces in Nanaimo, BC. Metis artwork is rarely seen in the public realm, and these pieces are an important addition and story-telling opportunity in the city's urban fabric.
