About Kelvin You

Greetings! I'm Kelvin You, a third-year Civil Engineering student at Monash University, originally from the beautiful landscapes of New Zealand. In 2022, I embarked on an exciting journey to Melbourne to pursue my engineering studies, where I've been blending my technical acumen with a passion for entrepreneurship and community engagement. During my college years in Auckland, I seized the incredible opportunity to intern at a boutique geotechnical firm. This experience not only laid the foundation for my practical knowledge in the field but also ignited the flame of passion that continues to drive my commitment to engineering. Beyond my academic pursuits, I've diversified my skill set by becoming a certified swimming instructor, working with children of all ages. Currently, I'm balancing this with my role at Woolworths Group, where I contribute to the dynamic team during grocery operations, managing orders and ensuring customer satisfaction. In the entrepreneurial realm, I co-founded an ice cream business. Our unique approach involves blending a base ice cream with frozen fruit using a special machine, resulting in natural and distinctive flavors. We've started by showcasing our creations at markets and events, with future plans to establish a more permanent presence. I thrive in dynamic environments, embracing challenges with enthusiasm and a proactive mindset. Let's connect and explore opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation!
