About Kely Nascimento

Kely Nascimento’s work is in global sports for development and sports diplomacy. Kely works in collaboration with governments, social impact NGO’s, brands and athletes to help maximize their efforts in the spaces where diplomacy, storytelling and impact converge. Kely has leveraged her expertise is in aligning strategy, amplifying brand and storytelling to create impactful, global partnerships that address the Sustainable Development Goals through sport. Ms Nascimento has worked in this capacity with Conmebol, Barça Foundation, Fundaçion Selection Colombia, Common Goal, NFL, Federacion National de TEQball and Generation Amazing among others. Kely has recently co-founded and is the Chief Impact Officer of Hadaf Global (HG), a consultancy based out of Doha and New York specializing in sports diplomacy through social impact. Recognizing the growing sectors of sports and major sporting events in the MENA region and the global south HG focuses on leveraging the universal language of sports to build international diplomatic bridges through social impact, further sustainable development through partnerships, and enhance global cooperation. Hadaf Global has entered into a partnership as a collective of SDISports to be able to deliver full, start-to-finish, production and realization of impact focused mega sporting events and brand activations. As a Keynote and speaker Kely has lectured at institutions such as NYU, Yale and Harvard and travels the world speaking on the power of sports and storytelling to promote equity, and as a tool to further the UNDP Sustainable Development Goals. Ms. Nascimento is a content producer, and the director of Warriors of a Beautiful Game a feature documentary on women’s football due to be released in 2025. Kely sits on the board of advisors for Global Goals World Cup, TAP, LEAD and Gondwana FC, she is on the board of directors of Beyond Sport Foundation and she is a Laureus Sports for Good Ambassador.
