About Ken Anjyo

Ken Anjyo is an Executive R&D Advisor for OLM Digital (Tokyo), Principal Researcher of Advanced Research Group at IMAGICA GROUP (Tokyo), and Adjunct Professor at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. In Ken joined OLM Digital to establish the R&D division. Since then, he's been credited as R&D supervisor for many 3DCG films and TV series. He also contributed to Japan’s digital media industry for many years, such as a technical committee member of the Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA), the largest association of Japanese game companies, during 2009 – 2014. He’s currently a board member of VFX-JAPAN, the general incorporated association for digital production professionals in Japan since 2016. Ken has contributed to ACM SIGGRAPH over years, in particular for Technical Papers, Courses, Electronic Theater, Production Session, and Panel as an author, organizer or committee member. He co-founded ACM Digital Production Symposium (DigiPro) in 2012. He chaired SIGGRAPH Asia 2018. In addition he published several books including "Mathematical Basics of Motion and Deformation in Computer Graphics"(co-authored, Morgan and Claypool 2017) and "CG: Your view into math!"(in Japanese, Nippon-Hyoron Sha 2023).
