About Ken Bach

As a kid I used to enjoy taking things apart, and while my success at putting them back together varied, the goal was always the same — to see what made them work. Today that original curiosity is still keen but it is business that gets my attention. What makes a business work, what are the drivers and obstacles to its success? Answering these questions and maximizing the growth factors through Kaizen and optimization can transform a company. My passion is in learning how a business operates, and through a focus on continuous improvement, take it to the next level. My latest accomplishment was the implementation of a new ethernet network across 40 gambling facilities in British Columbia. Attention to detail in network design, bid creation, relationship management and proactive troubleshooting contributed to the success of more than one million feet of cable being installed on time and under budget. I have worn many hats in my career – CAD draftsman, restaurateur, construction worker, telecommunications technician, trainer, analyst, manager. As a result I have the ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects and navigate complex challenges. Experience has taught me that my professional value boils down to the following- I don’t care who gets credit I just want to win - Lots of people have big ideas. Execution is what matters and I can execute - I am the calm one - I run towards the fire - I can proficiently translate tech-speak to Civilian - Give me a problem, and I will give you solutions.
