About Ken Baldwin

Professor Ken Baldwin was the inaugural Director of the Australian National University’s (ANU) Energy Change Institute, now part of the ANU Institute for Climate, Energy and Disaster Solutions. He was also the founding Director of the ANU Grand Challenge: Zero-Carbon Energy for the Asia-Pacific. The main focus of his work is to help drive the energy transition, particularly for Australia’s export future based on renewable energy. Professor Baldwin is a Fellow of: • the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering - FTSE • the American Physical Society - FAPS • the Institute of Physics (UK)- FInstP • the Optical Society of America (Optica)- FOSA • the Australian Institute of Physics - FAIP and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
