About Ken Basore

Ken Basore is a successful executive who is also a twenty-year veteran of law enforcement and a twenty+ year expert in digital forensics. He brings trusted business experience and a proven leadership ability that has been sharpened in several executive positions. An expert in the fields of IT, digital investigation and law enforcement, Basore deeply understands the customer point-of-view, and this helps guide him in management of the companies private sector business unit. Prior to joining Cellebrite, Mr. Basore was CEO at BlackBag Technologies until its acquisition by Cellebrite, and also Senior Vice President of Product Engineering for Guidance Software. In addition to his role as a Chief Executive Officer, during his over 20 year tenure in the private sector, Mr. Basore has held executive roles in engineering, training, information technology, and professional services. In his last role, Mr. Basore was responsible for all aspects of the private sector business for Cellebrite. His responsibilities included sales, marketing, business development and overseeing all product management functions as well as design, engineering, and release of all software solutions. In his career, Basore has overseen nearly 1,500 investigations and has extensive experience in the development and operation of computer forensic laboratories. His investigations have included financial crimes, narcotics, child exploitation, homicide and terrorism; and he has testified as an expert in both computer forensic investigations and computer forensic laboratory policies and procedures. A police officer for 20 years, Basore was responsible for the development of the nation's first Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory in San Diego, California where he supervised 16 investigators from various federal, state and local law enforcement facilities.
