Combined total of 17 years of experience and knowledge in the industry having done Residential Letting and Sales, Commercial Broker in Letting and Sales. Rental Portfolio Management, Maintenance Management, Sectional Title and HOA Property Portfolio Management- where I held the position for a period of 5 years, I managed a combined Property Portfolio of 24 Sectional Title Body Corporate and HOA buildings comprising of 1402 units for 4 of those years. I have learnt, adapted, been educated, self-taught, kept up to date, shadowed and been mentored as I have progressed through many a rank and have been entrusted with and have held positions of trust in upper management in fiduciary duties, governance and compliance, successful implementation of policies and execution of matters as per various legislations in the Real Estate Industry. Started as an assistant to top Residential Sales Agents in Sandton, to Office Manager and all round “assistant business runner” handling banking, all day-to-day affairs for a property firm in Midrand, becoming a Residential Sales and Rental Agent. I moved along and became a Commercial Property Broker (both Sales and Rentals). I become the “right-hand man” to the Owner and Franchisee of the same Real Estate Franchise collaborating with him in Commercial Property and overseeing the creation of contracts, marketing materials and presentations, to overseeing progress and tracking of Sales and the conclusion of transfer. I then transitioned into a new and different position; I assumed the role as a Property Portfolio Manager for 5 years. Strong business acumen, tech savvy, diligent, I am proficient with administration and attention to detail, I can maintain and build relationships with clients, strong customer service skills and problem-solving abilities. I have a good understanding of accounting principles and finance, especially budgeting, budget planning/forecasting, insurance claims administration and processes, with the ability of sensible and timeous action in resolution for maintenance, facilities needs and objectives and other matters. I have self-taught and am proficient with WordPress, relevant social media sites, SEO and Google Business Profile Management. Highly adaptable, willing to learn, for self-development and career growth. I am quick in learning, understanding and can grasp new concepts, processes, and procedures and am I willing to go to formal training. I have no problem with learning and self-teaching of new principles, legislations, IT systems and programmes, being able to apply the use thereof quickly.
