About Ken Busbee

During my career as a teacher, I have worked to create an environment where students want to excel and are excited to speak out in class. I am able to identify students in need of support and create opportunities for all students to shine. This is also something I plan to bring for the teachers. I thrive in fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly changing environments and am known as a team player. New learning opportunities are areas that excite me to be in. In my years teaching and as part of the Clarksville community, I have gained experience in student interaction, staff team building, and handling of student discipline. I created a sense of community and mentorship through the development and encouragement of high school student athletes through community service requirements for the Clarksville High School football program while head coach. These community service projects allowed the student/athletes to be leaders and role models through reading to elementary school students and clean-up efforts for areas in need. I take pride in the impact I have made on students that allows them to excel in their future endeavors.
