About Ken Chalmers
From an early age Ken developed a passion for investments, he remembers driving with his mom down Grant Avenue in Charleswood as a 10 year old and telling her to buy shares in retirement homes because of the aging population. After working as a teenager and saving he had enough money to buy shares in a company for the first time. Ken watched his money more than double and his passion only grew from there. After living in Switzerland for three years Ken turned his passion into his career over 12 years ago when he started working in the financial services industry. In Ken's spare time he volunteers as a coach for both of his son's hockey and soccer teams. He also volunteers for organizations such as Child Find Manitoba and CancerCare Manitoba. Ken has lived in the rural municipality of Brokenhead with his wife and two sons since 2008 and has had the pleasure to get to know the members of the community.
