Dennard has 34 years of senior management investor relations experience representing public companies in multiple industries including: energy; technology; consumer and retail, banking, insurance and financial services; communications; healthcare; consolidations; environmental; software & industrial; among others. Prior to founding Dennard Lascar in '97, he was Director of Marketing/IR at AOR. Inc.('95-'96); SVP of IR at Coastal Physician ('93-'95); AVP with Morgen-Walke ('91-'93); and Director of IR at QMS, Inc.('89-'91). Dennard, a.k.a. Kenny before he began his career in corporate America, holds a BA from Duke, where he was a four-year starter on men's basketball from '77-'81. Along with Spanarkel, Gminski & Banks, he helped lead Duke to the '78 NCAA Championship Game & 2 ACC Championships in '78 and '80. Kenny ranks 15th in career starts (115) & 20th in minutes per game (30) in Duke History. Dennard helped Duke compile a 90-37 record in his 4 seasons in Durham, including 3 NCAA Tournament appearances & 1 NIT berth. He was named to the '78 ACC All-Tournament second team in his freshman season. He played 3 seasons for Bill Foster ('77-'80) & was the team's co-captain with Banks their senior season (Coach K's 1st year at Duke '80-'81). Dennard still holds the ACC single game record for steals (11) against MD in '79. Kenny was honored as Duke’s 13th ACC Legend when selected as a member of the 2012 ACC Legends Class in March 2012. And yes, he made the first backwards dunk on national TV in NCAA history back in March '78 -) and, of course, he didn't undercut Buck! Drafted in the 4th round of the '81 NBA Draft by Kansas City, Kenny played in the NBA for Kansas City ('81-83) & Denver ('84-85).
