About Ken Dingman

Ken is a very experienced Software Engineering Manager with proven expertise in project management and organizational management activities. He has successfully lead organizations of more the 50 engineers and managers with budget responsibility greater than $8M / year. Strengths include talent development, team building, and relationship strengthening. He has experience leading both commercial (IRAD) and government program development projects. Ken is currently a Sr Engineering Manager with Harris Corporation, RF Communications Division in Rochester NY. In this role he has been responsible for complete software life cycle development activities for the VHF/UHF Line-of-Sight and UHF Satellite Communication and HF Beyond-Line-of-Sight Waveforms for the Falcon II and Falcon products lines. Ken is currently responsible for the development of the Mobile User Object System (MUOS) Waveform. Ken is active in the Wireless Innovation Forum, elected to the Board of Directors for his 2nd year, he is currently serving as the Treasurer/Chief Financial Officer and is the co-chair of the Coordinating Committee on International SCA standards. In March 2016 Ken was awarded the 2015 President’s Award in recognition of his sustained outstanding contributions in support of the Wireless Innovation Forum and its activities. Ken is also the Steering Committee Chair for the RF Communications Division SW Development Process successfully leading the organization through a CMMI-DEV L3 SW appraisal.
