About Ken Dunn
After 32 years in the information technology field and several years as an executive, I recently changed gears to pursue a dream of sharing the healing touch of nature, community and social activities with others in recovery from addiction. Since beginning my path of recovery, I began feeling the call back toward nature and the outdoors. By 2019 I could no longer ignore my desire to hike the entire Appalachian Trail, something I had longed to complete for about 25 years. In 2020, I took a leave of absence and made it a reality. It took about 5 months and on October 4th, I summited Mount Kahtadin. During that long journey, I knew I needed a new purpose but, I didn't know what that might look like. In early 2021, I completed Adventure Recovery Coaching training and in that time, realized my next purpose - bringing nature to those suffering from addiction. Since that time, I have been putting the pieces in place to launch this endeavor. In comes Expedition Recovery, LLC. This is going to be exciting! I hope you'll take this journey with me.
